Not too simple but not too complicated, just right. Has that noice mid 90's feel to it, can play this for hours and not even notice.Breddy Gud. simply not made to run on higher end systems - sound constantly cuts out and menu items are clicked, but actually do something 20 seconds later. It would be better to get a computer with windows 95 installed and run it that way.. brought the game and wont work. The strategy is very shallow, the AI is laughably bad, and you will get incredibly tired of hearing "saving game please wait." But as an unsung classic of the strategy genre and one of my favorite games in youth. This game is always fun for a quick little afternoon of conquering a country or two, when you just want to sit back and enjoy the conquest.. I played the ever-living hell outta this game growing up in the 90's...this game kicks so much badass you don't even know. I am the master of this game! ♥♥♥♥ the Bishop, Knight, Countess & Baron! (In that order, I actually respect the Baron though.). brought the game and wont work. Good game, would be better if I knew how to play it tho. Gothic 1, Gothic 2, Age of Wonders, the list goes on, the list of all time best games ever.Lords of the Realm 2 stands strong in that group. I can't remember how much time I have spent playing it, it's definitely more than I have every devoted to all total war games so far.Graphics may be dated but they are still pleasant to look at, upholding the atmosphere which is further strenghthened by the music and sound quality. The story is simple yet believable, you are one of the most powerful lords in England and you have just been denied the throne. Fight other nobles to unify the country. The Siege pack expanded the already great game.I can definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes strategies.Tested on Win7, runs perfectly fine.
